Say what you will about the weather in Buffalo and Western New York, but we know the truth. We have four true seasons, and we enjoy each and every one of them!
We have a reputation for BIG winters, but we like them! It gives us a chance to slow down, entertain and work on the inside of our homes. We give the Bills and Sabres our full attention. And, in less than an hours drive, we have world class skiing in Ellicottville, Kissing Bridge and Holiday Valley.
Spring brings new growth everywhere in the city and the surrounding county. We garden, dress up our homes, jog, walk, run, bike, and enjoy the outdoors once again!
Summers are blissful. Being on lake Erie is like being on an ocean. The sailing is unmatched and well-respected, not to mention the beaches of Southern Ontario. There's nothing like a walk through Delaware Park on a soft, sunny day, or enjoying Garden Walk. Or a drive to Niagara Falls and through Southern Ontario. And let's not forget the numerous arts and ethnic festivals throughout the city all Summer long, including the biggest of them: The Allentown Arts Festival!
Autumn maybe be the best season of all: The colors, the crisp air, the forthcoming holidays. The shores of Lake Erie, and nearby Finger Lakes are home to some of the finest wineries and orchards this side of the Napa Valley and France. There's always something to do here!
